Left Lane: Chip Beverett Runs 5.558/262.64, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.017/184.40, Was #13

6:52 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 68 degrees, relative humidity 37 percent, barometer 29.83 inches, adjusted altitude 3,320 feet.

Beverett goes down the groove with a good pass and moves up to the eighth spot for now.

Left Lane: Ulf Leanders Runs 5.575/259.76, Now #10; Best prior run: 5.778/211.83, Was #12
Right Lane: Ray Martin Runs 5.861/235.39, Now #13; Best prior run: 5.780/255.53, Was #13

Leanders with a good, solid pass to improve and move up to the tenth spot for now. Martin was drifting and was off of the throttle a little early.

Ulf Leanders' incremental times: 60ft-0.950 sec., 330ft-2.481, 660ft-3.682/205.63 mph, 1,000ft-4.708.

Right Lane: Hunter Jones Runs 8.630/119.02, Now #11; Best prior run: 5.642/259.21, Was #11

Martin makes a clean, straight pass and improves but stays in the 12th spot. Jones has problems and is off of the throttle early.

Right Lane: Annie Whiteley Runs 5.532/263.26, Now #4; Best prior run: 5.571/262.28, Was #9

Jim Whiteley makes a decent run but slows from his earlier attempt. Annie Whiteley improves and moves into the fourth spot, going around Jim and dropping him a spot in the order.

Jim Whiteley's incremental times: 60ft-0.944 sec., 330ft-2.469, 660ft-3.692/202.48 mph, 1,000ft-4.736.

Annie Whiteley's incremental times: 60ft-0.961 sec., 330ft-2.489, 660ft-3.672/209.36 mph, 1,000ft-4.678.

This would have been a great drag race. The difference at the finish line was just .0008 seconds. Marshall slows a little from hie earlier attempt and stays in the sixth spot. Hough doesn't improve and stays in the eighth spot.

Brian Hough's incremental times: 60ft-0.948 sec., 330ft-2.484, 660ft-3.693/205.76 mph, 1,000ft-4.725.

Gordon makes a decent pass but slows a little from his earlier run. Westerfield improves and moves up to the third spot.

Shane Westerfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.937 sec., 330ft-2.453, 660ft-3.637/209.75 mph, 1,000ft-4.648.

McCosh and Bellemeur both make solid runs but neither improve over their previous attempts.
