ENNIS, Texas - Results of round 1 eliminations in JEGS Allstars Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 38th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals:

2:38 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 39 percent, barometer 29.84 inches, adjusted altitude 2,570 feet.

Hough hits the throttle, gets about 60 feet out and strikes the tires. He stays on the throttle for about 200 feet and then gives up on the run. Smith goes down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win.

Cox hits the throttle, breaks the tires loose and has to pedal. Marshall struck the tires, the car made a quick move to the right and he had to give up on the run. Cox was able to recover and go through for the win.

Bellemeur gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Bohl starts moving around early in the run and he fell behind at every marker. Bellemeur goes through with his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win.

Sean Bellemeur's incremental times: 60ft-0.943 sec., 330ft-2.434, 660ft-3.595/213.39 mph, 1,000ft-4.590.

McCosh gets the holeshot but has traction problems at the hit and has to back off of the throttle. Gill goes on through with his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win.

Bellemeur will have lane choice over Gill in the next round and Smith will have lane choice over Cox.
