SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The WDRA is proud to announce a new alliance with God Speed Ministry. God Speed Ministry was founded in May of 2004 as an organization of 'racers ministering to racers.' God Speed Ministry has grown from serving one organization to serving eight series in North America. They cover drag races, road races, swap meets, car shows and other outdoor events across the US and Canada. God Speed Ministry seeks to provide spiritual nourishment and growth to the participants, fans and sponsors at these events with non-denominational ministry, emergency response, outreach, speakers/services, and more.

"We want to publicly welcome God Speed Ministry to the WDRA family," said WDRA founder Don Scott. "God Speed Ministry brings the church to events and connects people to God and each other. Their highly skilled and compassionate chaplains deliver sermons before races as well as pray for and with racers throughout the event. This is an important part of our Bracket Finals, World Championship and any WDRA managed event we do."
