Durden Takes Pro Mod Top Spot in Sin City

LAS VEGAS - In the final round of qualifying at the COMP Cams Street Car Super Nationals 18
presented by FuelTech and Summit Racing Equipment, John Durden laid down a pass of 5.683 seconds at
253.90 mph to take the Precision Pro Mod Top Qualifier. The San Juan Bautista, Calif. native edged
past Friday's provisional pole sitter Bret Williamson's 5.6960-second lap.
Rian Hayward maintained his hold on top qualifier honors in the MagnaFuel Outlaw 10.5 class with his
run from Thursday of 3.841 seconds at 193.21 mph.
Race conditions at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway continue to be flawless with Saturday's
temps in the mid-50s under clear skies as eliminations kicked off at 8 a.m. PST. Results, photos,
