LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 22nd annual NHRA Nevada Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Leah Pruett Runs 3.746/329.18, Now #8; Best prior run: 12.009/55.93, Was #14
Right Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 10.598/78.40, Now #14; Best prior run: 5.126/136.72, Was #13

Weather conditions: air temperature 70 degrees, relative humidity 8 percent, barometer 30.15 inches, adjusted altitude 2,897 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.

Pruett is straight down the groove with a good looking pass. She moves up into the top half of the show.

Kalitta is up in smoke right at the hit and clicks it off.
