LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 22nd annual NHRA Nevada Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Krista Baldwin Runs 4.042/241.50, Now #2
Right Lane: Rob Passey Runs 4.032/297.48, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 69 degrees, relative humidity 8 percent, barometer 30.18 inches, adjusted altitude 2,783 feet.

Baldwin was on a good pass until on the top end when it started to mix up cylinders. Then engine let go...the word fro the top end is there is oil.

Passey with good clean pass. Rob Passey's incremental times: 60ft-1.000 sec., 330ft-2.246, 660ft-3.223/255.00 mph.

Left Lane: Tony Schumacher Runs 3.820/266.90, Now #1
Right Lane: Leah Pruett Runs 12.009/55.93, Now #4

Schumacher was on a good pass, but clicked it off early. Tony Schumacher's incremental times: 60ft-0.837 sec., 330ft-2.125, 660ft-3.001/289.07 mph.

Pruett is up in smoke right at the hit.

Left Lane: Clay Millican Runs 4.272/198.17, Now #5
Right Lane: Shawn Langdon Runs 3.739/328.30, Now #1

Millican started to lose traction and the engine let go.

Langdon kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight with a good pass. Shawn Langdon's incremental times: 60ft-0.846 sec., 330ft-2.132, 660ft-3.007/290.38 mph.

Left Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 5.126/136.72, Now #7
Right Lane: Austin Prock Runs 3.731/328.30, Now #1

Kalitta was up in smoke by 330 feet and clicked it off.

Prock was on a good pass until right in the lights when it banged it. He still goes to the number one spot. Austin Prock's incremental times: 60ft-0.838 sec., 330ft-2.128, 660ft-3.001/287.78 mph.

Left Lane: Josh Hart Runs 3.741/324.75, Now #4
Right Lane: Mike Salinas Runs 3.712/331.94, Now #1

Hart is straight down the groove to go to the number four spot. Josh Hart's incremental times: 60ft-0.835 sec., 330ft-2.125, 660ft-3.005/289.45 mph.

Salinas launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Mike Salinas' incremental times: 60ft-0.837 sec., 330ft-2.115, 660ft-2.985/291.38 mph.

Right Lane: Antron Brown Runs 3.742/329.91, Now #5

Torrence started to lose traction and clicked it off.

Brown is straight down the groove with a good looking pass. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.856 sec., 330ft-2.139, 660ft-3.010/290.26 mph.

Force with a great looking pass, he kept it hooked up all the way down the track to go to the number one spot. Brittany Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.850 sec., 330ft-2.129, 660ft-2.991/295.27 mph.

Ashley is right there with her to go to the number three spot. Justin Ashley's incremental times: 60ft-0.832 sec., 330ft-2.120, 660ft-2.988/292.08 mph.
