ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Funny Car at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 37th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Jack Wyatt Runs 4.127/284.47, Now #13; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Jeff Diehl Runs 4.754/173.85, Now #14; No Prior Run
Weather conditions: air temperature 79 degrees, relative humidity 32 percent, barometer 29.90 inches, adjusted altitude 2,216 feet, track temperature 101 degrees.
Wyatt didn't make a pass earlier today. He makes a good pass.
Diehl gets a time on the board.

Right Lane: Terry Haddock No Time, Now #16; Best prior run: 8.268/68.49, Was #16

Haddock starts to drift out of the groove and crosses the centerline. This is his first centerline violation and will cost him five points.

Tasca III kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to go to the number one spot. Bob Tasca III's incremental times: 60ft-0.866 sec., 330ft-2.231, 660ft-3.139/285.91 mph.
DeJoria started to lose traction and clicked it off.
