MADISON, Ill. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 11th annual NHRA Midwest Nationals:

Kelly Clontz is 0-6 against Johnson but this is the first time she has had lane choice against him. This is the first time in 23 races that Steve Johnson has not has lane choice in Rd. 1

Johnson hits the throttle, moves about five feet and the engine goes silent, not sure why. Clontz doesn't make a great pass but takes the win.

Oehler gets the advantage off of the line but it isn't enough. Savoie goes down the roove with his quickest pass of the weekend and takes the win.

Sampey gets a great light and starts pulling away. Phillips spins the tire at the hit, gets off and on the throttle, but Sampey was gone by the time he regained traction.

Sampey will have lane choice over Savoie in the next round.
