All the way from Saitama Ken in Japan runs low ET and speed of the event. What a drag race, Simrock was ahead all the way past half track. After that it was all Nissan and Turbo power, congrats to Shiobara and the whole team. To the whole Shiobara team - O medatto gozimasu! Nihon ni kaeri tame ni kiosukette kudasai. So the 2001 season is in the books. There are five new NHRA import champions. The year is over, but there are many already busily working on new cars and other plans for the 2002 season. What an exciting year this has been - we can't wait till next year!
