Kelley had the light he wanted, but something went away at the top end of the track - looks like the transmission may have some extra pieces of metal floating around.... That ends his bid to take the championship, but his efforts today will make him #2 for the 2001 season. With this loss, Mandl is the All Motor Champion!

Mandl just won the championship - but lost the round! Margin of victory = 0.094 seconds (approximately 16 feet). Shagway will race Mankumo in the final, and Shagway will have lane choice.
