JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - Coastal Plains Dragway will usher in a new digital era by partnering with MyRacePass. The digital app will allow racers and race fans to view and download time slips, qualifying information, race results, schedules and real-time points tracking. The app will also feature "Fantasy Drag Racing" so fans can pick and choose their favorite racers for prizes throughout the season.

"We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Charles and the staff at Coastal Plains Dragway to launch our MyRacePass Race Management system for the Drag Racing world," explains Josh Holt, co-founder/co-owner of MyRacePass. "We are bringing what we've created for over 600 promoters and millions of fans in the circle track racing industry to drag racing, and this is only the start. We're excited to share the MyRacePass race day experience to drag race fans and drivers that follow the speedway."

The new MyRacePass Coastal Plains Dragway feature will undergo testing when the new track timing system is installed just after the Valentine's Day Classic. CPD will become the first dragstrip in the country to host live drag racing on MyRacePass when it officially debuts March 12-13 at the St. Patrick's Day Kick Off event.
