POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 56th annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Torrence is 6 - 0 against Ferre in prior events.

Ferre with the starting line advantage. but Torrence has the lead by the time they go by the Christmas tree. Torrence was on his way to the win when his car went silent. He was able to cast across the finish line for the win. Steve Torrence's MOV: 0.0069 seconds (approximately 3 feet). Torrence advances to his 14th final round this season and 76th of his career.

Ferre with a good pass in the losing effort.

This is the first time Tatum and Brown have faced each other in eliminations.

Brown with the starting line advantage, but Tatum had the lead when they went by the Christmas tree. Tatum with a puff of smoke on the top end and Brown drove back around him for the win. Brown will have lane choice in the final over Torrence. Brown is advancing to his second final round this season and 126th career final round.
