At Dodge//SRT NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil

LAS VEGAS - After going five years between No. 1 qualifiers, Alexis DeJoria has now accomplished it in back-to-back races, rocketing to the top position in Funny Car on Saturday during the Dodge//SRT NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Brittany Force (Top Fuel), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also qualified No. 1 at the 19th of 20 races during the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season and the sixth race in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.

Funny Car No. 1 qualifier Alexis DeJoria drove her Bandero Premium Tequila ROKiT Toyota Camry to a 3.896 second pass at 327.03 mph.

After winning at the most recent race, Funny Car's Alexis DeJoria earned the No. 1 qualifier for the second straight race.

Top Fuel No. 1 qualifier Brittany Force drove her Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster to a 3.668 second pass at 331.94 mph.

Force had an even better performance on Saturday, going 3.668 at 331.94. It gives Force her 12th No. 1 qualifier of the season and 32nd in her career.

Pro Stock No. 1 qualifier Greg Anderson drove his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro to a 6.655 second pass at 205.38 mph.

Points leader Anderson claimed the No. 1 spot for the 11th time this year and 117th time in his career after his pass on Saturday.

Pro Stock Motorcycle No. 1 qualifier Matt Smith rode his Denso Auto Parts/Stockseth/Matt Smith Racing EBR to a 6.839 second pass at 198.23 mph.

Smith, the defending world champ and points leader, went to No. 1 in the final qualifying session. It's his fourth No. 1 qualifier this year and 47th in his career.
