12:19 PMSimpson doesn't show for the race and gives Smith the easy victory.

Chesterman shakes the tires right off the line but drives through for the win. Gordon got out of shape, almost crossed the centerline, then gets it back in the groove.

Addleman does his burnout and for some reason just drives on through giving Gasparrelli the win. Gasparrelli gets out of shape and crosses the centerline taking out the 330' timing cones. He will run Smith in round two, Smith with the lane choice.

Manzo gets the scheduled bye-run and will be running for lane choice. He makes a good pass and will have lane choice over Chesterman in round two.
