11:22 AM This is the first pair in Top Fuel 'B'. Murry's car didn't look healthy as he staged. Before half track the car was drifting towards the centerline and Brendan clicks it off. McGee goes on to get the first round win.

Big match up here. Pulde just never got a handle on the track yesterday and will start #2 in the 'B' field for this event. McLennan leaves second but catches Pulde by 60 feet. He pulled away at every marker as Pulde's engine was mixing cylinders all the way to the finish stripe.

11:45 AM We seem to have had move timing system problems but it appears we're back in business again. Think Steiner's a bit upset not to qualify in the 'A' field? He just lays a really big pass against Muravez in the Western Hoist racers. That was a whuppin'!

This pair was up earlier but the tree again malfunctioned and they went to the back of the session. Neither of these drivers qualified in the field but breakage pits the two against each other in round one. Jennings started smoking the tires off the line and stayed with it to about half track. Howell was out and away for the win. That's all for the first round of Top Fuel.
