MADISON, Ill. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 10th annual NHRA Midwest Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Right Lane: Robert River Runs 7.184/148.27, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 79 degrees, relative humidity 41 percent, barometer 29.96 inches, adjusted altitude 2,108 feet, track temperature 97 degrees.

This is River's first appearance on tour since Indy last year. He was on a good pass, but clicked it off early.

Left Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.629/209.10, Now #1
Right Lane: Marty Robertson Runs 6.637/208.46, Now #2

A couple of the Elite rental cars here.

Butner is making his first Pro Stock pass this season. He is straight down the groove with a good clean pass. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-1.000 sec., 330ft-2.780, 660ft-4.267/165.54 mph, 1,000ft-5.549.

Robertson is making his second race in a row. He starts the weekend with a clean pass. Marty Robertson's incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.786, 660ft-4.274/165.72 mph, 1,000ft-5.557.

Left Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.564/210.08, Now #1
Right Lane: Fernando Cuadra Runs 6.620/208.91, Now #2

Brogdon launched hard and kept it hooked up with a real nice pass. Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-0.973 sec., 330ft-2.741, 660ft-4.217/166.46 mph, 1,000ft-5.491.

Cuadra with a real nice pass...Fernando Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.998 sec., 330ft-2.779, 660ft-4.263/166.29 mph, 1,000ft-5.542.

Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 6.635/208.52, Now #5
Right Lane: Cristian Cuadra Runs 6.595/208.59, Now #2

Prusiensky with a good pass.

Cuadra is straight down the groove to go to the number two spot. Cristian Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.994 sec., 330ft-2.764, 660ft-4.245/166.93 mph, 1,000ft-5.520.

Left Lane: Fernando Cuadra Jr. Runs 7.444/143.35, Now #9
Right Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.574/209.52, Now #2

Cuadra pushed the clutch in early.

Delco straight down the groove to the number two spot. Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.753, 660ft-4.229/166.95 mph, 1,000ft-5.502.

Right Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.603/208.10, Now #5

McGaha launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.972 sec., 330ft-2.735, 660ft-4.219/167.22 mph, 1,000ft-5.479.

Kramer with a good looking pass.

Left Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 27.444/26.48, Now #13
Right Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.569/207.82, Now #3

McGaha with severe tire shake at the hit.

Hartford with a nice pass to the number three spot. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.978 sec., 330ft-2.745, 660ft-4.220/166.81 mph, 1,000ft-5.494.

Left Lane: Troy Coughlin Jr. Runs 6.549/209.20, Now #2
Right Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.546/208.39, Now #1

This was a great side-by-side drag race.

Coughlin Jr kept it hooked up to the number two spot right behind Stanfield who goes to the number one spot.

Troy Coughlin Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.739, 660ft-4.209/167.09 mph, 1,000ft-5.478.
Aaron Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.973 sec., 330ft-2.745, 660ft-4.203/167.22 mph, 1,000ft-5.473.

Left Lane: Dallas Glenn Runs 6.564/208.81, Now #6
Right Lane: Kyle Koretsky Runs 6.538/210.28, Now #1

Glenn makes a move to the left, but he reels it in. Dallas Glenn's incremental times: 60ft-0.971 sec., 330ft-2.738, 660ft-4.214/166.03 mph, 1,000ft-5.489.

Koretsky launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest and fastest pass of the session. Kyle Koretsky's incremental times: 60ft-0.969 sec., 330ft-2.730, 660ft-4.201/167.38 mph, 1,000ft-5.470.

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.545/209.49, Now #3
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.536/209.65, Now #1

This is a great side-by-side drag race to wrap up round one of qualifying.

Enders is straight down the groove to the number three spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.734, 660ft-4.205/167.38 mph, 1,000ft-5.474.

Anderson launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.966 sec., 330ft-2.721, 660ft-4.193/167.32 mph, 1,000ft-5.463.
