CONCORD, N.C. - John Force drove his way to the No. 1 spot for the 163rd time in his career,
taking the top qualifying position on Saturday at the DeWalt NHRA Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway.
Brittany Force (Top Fuel), Aaron Stanfield (Pro Stock) and Steve Johnson (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also
qualified No. 1 at the 15th of 20 races during the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season
and the second race in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
Funny Car No. 1 qualifier John Force drove his PEAK Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car to a 3.860 second
pass at 332.18 mph.
Force qualified No. 1 for the 163rd time in his career thanks to his 3.860 at 332.18 on Friday at
zMAX Dragway.
Top Fuel No. 1 qualifier Brittany Force drove her Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster to a 3.662 second
pass 331.85 mph.
Brittany Force continued her qualifying dominance, qualifying No. 1 for the 8th straight race and
the 10th time in 2021.
Pro Stock No. 1 qualifier Aaron Stanfield drove his Janac Brothers Chevrolet Camaro to a 6.575 second
pass at 208.59 mph.
Pro Stock's Aaron Stanfield drove his Camaro to the No. 1 position with a pass of 6.575 at 208.59 on
Friday. It is Stanfield's first career No. 1 qualifier in the class.
Pro Stock Motorcycle No. 1 qualifier Steve Johnson rode his Mac Rak/Slick 50 Suzuki to a 6.788 second
pass at 197.74 mph.
Pro Stock Motorcycle points leader Steve Johnson raced to the top spot after going 6.788 at 197.74 It
is Johnson's second No. 1 qualifier this season, marking the first time in his career he's qualified
No. 1 two times in a season.
