Johnson is 2 - 0 against Gladstone in prior events.

Gladstone gets the holeshot but Johnson reels him in quickly. Johnson continues to pull away but starts drifting to the right. He gets to the end of the run and takes out the timing block at the end of the track, DQ'ing his run and giving the win to Gladstone.

Sampey will have lane choice over Gladstone in the final round.
