CONCORD, N.C. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 13th annual DeWalt NHRA Carolina Nationals:

1:41 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 85 degrees, relative humidity 57 percent, barometer 30.14 inches, adjusted altitude 2,942 feet.

This is the first time Reed and Gladstone have faced each other in eliminations.

Gladstone gets out of the gate first and starts pulling away. Reed starts to make up ground at the 330 foot mark, continues to gain ground, but Gladstone hangs on for the win.

In the shutdown area, Reed starts drifting to the right. He leans hard, trying to get the bike back over to the left. He crosses in front of Gladstone, the bikes come in contact with each other, then Reed's bike flips around and becomes airborne. Reed comes off of the bike, Gladstone ducks and avoids the rear of the bike, then Reed hits the track.

The word from the top end, Reed is okay and talking to medical personnel.

Pollacheck is 7 - 6 against Johnson in prior events.

Pollacheck does everything he can do to try and beat johnson. he gets a perfect light, makes his quickest pass of the weekend, but Johnson is still able to get around him by the time they reach the 330 foot mark.

Johnson will have lane choice over Gladstone in the next round.

Sampey is 17 - 16 against Hines in prior events.

Sampey gets out of the gate first, extends the lead to the 330 foot mark, then Hines starts making up ground. Hines continues to gain ground but Sampey hangs on for the holeshot win.

Angelle Sampey's incremental margins: 60ft(0.035), 330 ft(0.037), 660ft(0.038), 1,000ft(0.032). MOV: 0.0238 seconds (approximately 7 feet).

Smith misses the tree on the wrong side and goes red.
