Allen started to lose traction early and clicked it off. Massey is driving the Pat Dakin car and this is the first time he has been in Top Fueler since the Four-Wide race here in 2019. He was driving Dakin's car then. He launched hard and kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight until right in the lights when it banged and popped. The word from the top end is there is oil. Spencer Massey's incremental times: 60ft-0.832 sec., 330ft-2.127, 660ft-3.020/284.81 mph. Left Lane: Doug Foley Runs 3.871/298.34, Now #3 Right Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 3.793/315.19, Now #2 This was a good looking side-by-side drag race. Foley with a new crew chief Aaron Brooks this weekend. He is straight down the groove with a good clean pass. Doug Foley's incremental times: 60ft-0.876 sec., 330ft-2.194, 660ft-3.096/282.72 mph. Laughlin launched hard and kept it hooked up to make a good clean pass. Alex Laughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.864 sec., 330ft-2.151, 660ft-3.037/285.53 mph. Left Lane: Joe Morrison Runs 4.069/267.96, Now #4 Right Lane: Josh Hart Runs 6.146/99.30, Now #6 Morrison with a clean pass to start the weekend as he clicked it off early. Hart was up in smoke early and clicked it off. Left Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 3.869/305.84, Now #4 Right Lane: Clay Millican Runs 3.708/322.96, Now #1 Kalitta with a clean pass and he slowed on the top end. Millican launched hard and kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to go to the number one spot. Clay Millican's incremental times: 60ft-0.823 sec., 330ft-2.089, 660ft-2.965/288.39 mph. Left Lane: Mike Salinas Runs 3.709/308.92, Now #2 Right Lane: Shawn Langdon Runs 6.474/98.74, Now #10 Salinas had it hitting on all eight and then right in the lights it started eating itself up. There was a bang and quick flash of flames. Mike Salinas' incremental times: 60ft-0.831 sec., 330ft-2.100, 660ft-2.962/293.98 mph. Langdon started to lose traction early and clicked it off. Left Lane: Antron Brown Runs 3.779/323.66, Now #4 Right Lane: Leah Pruett Runs 6.830/97.75, Now #12 Brown with a good looking pass, straight down the groove to go to the number four spot. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.862 sec., 330ft-2.155, 660ft-3.036/288.58 mph. Pruett lost traction right at the hit and she clicked it off. Left Lane: Justin Ashley Runs 3.992/224.02, Now #9 Right Lane: Billy Torrence Runs 3.729/325.85, Now #3 Ashley was on a good pass, until the car started to lose traction around the 1/8 mile mark and he clicked it off. Torrence kept it hooked up and was on good looking pass, but had a lot smoke out of the headers right in the light. Billy Torrence's incremental times: 60ft-0.845 sec., 330ft-2.129, 660ft-2.997/293.28 mph. Left Lane: Brittany Force Runs 3.662/331.85, Now #1 Right Lane: Steve Torrence Runs 6.278/99.39, Now #14 Force launched hard and kept it hitting on all eight and hooked up to go to the number one spot. Right in the lights the engine let go with a big boomer and and quick flash of fire. Brittany Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.816 sec., 330ft-2.080, 660ft-2.939/296.57 mph. Torrence lost traction early and clicked it off.
