CONCORD, N.C. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 13th annual DeWalt NHRA Carolina Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Left Lane: Wally Stroupe Runs 6.665/205.54, Now #1
Right Lane: Marty Robertson Runs 16.227/52.70, Now #2
Weather conditions: air temperature 8824 degrees, relative humidity 63 percent, barometer 30.06 inches, adjusted altitude 2,863 feet.
Stroupe is making his first appearance on the tour this year and first since Gainesville last year.
Stroupe is straight down the groove with a clean pass.
Robertson is making his first appearance on tour this year and only the third in his career.
He has severe tire shake right at the hit.
Left Lane: Rob Tucker Runs 8.627/110.15, Now #3
Right Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.706/205.01, Now #2
Tucker is back in his own car...Tucker shook and clicked it off.
Stevens is back in the car after having to miss the last two races due to the hurricane. Larry Morgan was filling in for him. Stevens with a clean pass.
Left Lane: Vincent Nobile Runs 6.630/206.51, Now #1
Right Lane: Fernando Cuadra Runs 7.953/128.66, Now #4

Prusiensky is out of the groove early and reels it in.
