MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 36th annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Doug Foley Runs 11.487/69.61, Now #12; Best prior run: 3.856/297.55, Was #12
Weather conditions: air temperature 75 degrees, relative humidity 56 percent, barometer 30.16 inches, adjusted altitude 1,958 feet, track temperature 107 degrees.
Foley is up in smoke right at the hit.
Left Lane: Shawn Langdon Runs 4.154/205.60, Now #11; Best prior run: 3.813/321.27, Was #11
Langdon launched hard and started to haze the tires around half track. The word from the top end is there is oil on the track.
Left Lane: Antron Brown Runs 3.731/329.34, Now #7; Best prior run: 3.796/324.83, Was #10
Right Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 3.743/325.69, Now #9; Best prior run: 3.780/322.19, Was #8
Brown launched hard and is straight down the groove to the make his quickest pass of the weekend. He moves up to the number seven spot. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.838 sec., 330ft-2.124, 660ft-2.996/290.13 mph.
Kalitta with a good looking pass, his quickest pass of the weekend, but gets bumped back one spot by Brown. Doug Kalitta's incremental times: 60ft-0.846 sec., 330ft-2.129, 660ft-3.003/289.26 mph.
Left Lane: Josh Hart Runs 3.756/322.65, Now #10; Best prior run: 3.793/323.81, Was #10
Right Lane: Leah Pruett Runs 3.743/282.54, Now #8; Best prior run: 3.733/323.89, Was #8
Hart is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend. He will stay in the number 10 spot. Josh Hart's incremental times: 60ft-0.848 sec., 330ft-2.140, 660ft-3.018/288.33 mph.
Pruett launched hard and was on a great looking pass until the car pitched it's blower belt. She will stay in the number eight spot. Leah Pruett's incremental times: 60ft-0.836 sec., 330ft-2.101, 660ft-2.964/291.76 mph.
Left Lane: Justin Ashley Runs 4.750/152.93, Now #6; Best prior run: 3.721/328.78, Was #6
Right Lane: Billy Torrence Runs 3.724/326.08, Now #5; Best prior run: 3.699/327.98, Was #5
Ashley starts to lose traction early and clicks it off.
Torrence with another great pass, but will not improve. Billy Torrence's incremental times: 60ft-0.827 sec., 330ft-2.103, 660ft-2.984/287.53 mph.

Millican with another great pass, but will not improve. He makes the fourth quickest pass of the session. Clay Millican's incremental times: 60ft-0.820 sec., 330ft-2.104, 660ft-2.995/284.39 mph.
Salinas launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest pass of the session. He will stay in the number four spot. Mike Salinas' incremental times: 60ft-0.840 sec., 330ft-2.107, 660ft-2.969/291.38 mph.
Left Lane: Steve Torrence Runs 3.751/274.72, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.692/327.19, Was #2
Right Lane: Brittany Force Runs 3.689/331.77, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.660/334.07, Was #1
Torrence was on a good looking pass until on the top end when it started mixing up cylinders. He will start Sunday from the number two spot.
Force launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest pass of the session. She has had the quickest pass in all three session. She is the number one qualifier for the seventh race in a row. She is only the second Top Fuel driver to do that, the other was Gary Back at the end of the 1983 season and the beginning of the 1984 season. This is the eighth time this season she has qualified number one and the 29th time in her career.
Brittany Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.826 sec., 330ft-2.091, 660ft-2.960/292.01 mph.
