MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 36th annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.665/207.72, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.704/189.84, Was #15
Right Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 15.144/73.80, Now #16; Best prior run: 8.103/161.19, Was #16

Weather conditions: air temperature 72 degrees, relative humidity 67 percent, barometer 30.21 inches, adjusted altitude 1,712 feet, track temperature 101 degrees.

Morgan brings the rpms up and car starts to move...the light turns green and he stays with it. Morgan improve on his pass from yesterday, but stays in the number 15 spot.

Delco with severe tire shake and pushes in the clutch.

Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky No Time, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.643/207.85, Was #14
Right Lane: John Gaydosh Jr No Time, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.640/208.10, Was #13

This was a strange one, both drivers...

Both drivers did second burnouts and they both crossed the starting line on the second attempts. You are allowed to cross the centerline only once on the burnout, so they were both DQ'ed.

Left Lane: Bob Benza Runs 16.034/52.24, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.614/208.62, Was #12
Right Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.565/206.92, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.593/208.94, Was #11

Benza with severe tire shake right at the hit and clicked it off.

Kramer is straight down the groove with his quickest pass to move into the top half of the show. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.972 sec., 330ft-2.732, 660ft-4.208/166.27 mph, 1,000ft-5.486.

Left Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 15.488/46.15, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.573/210.21, Was #10
Right Lane: Vincent Nobile Runs 6.575/207.02, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.579/207.88, Was #11

McGaha with severe tire shake and he pushes in the clutch.

Nobile is a little quicker than yesterday, but will stay in the number 11 spot. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.740, 660ft-4.216/166.54 mph, 1,000ft-5.496.

Left Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.563/209.56, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.570/209.65, Was #9
Right Lane: Troy Coughlin Jr. Runs 6.567/208.71, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.552/208.42, Was #5

This was a great looking side-by-side drag race.

McGaha was straight down the groove to move up the ladder to the number seven spot. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.750, 660ft-4.220/167.09 mph, 1,000ft-5.491.

Coughlin Jr. with another good pass, but will not improve. Troy Coughlin Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.734, 660ft-4.211/166.52 mph, 1,000ft-5.490.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.556/209.69, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.565/209.30, Was #8
Right Lane: Dallas Glenn Runs 6.537/208.39, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.550/209.04, Was #4

Hartford improves one spot. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.738, 660ft-4.211/166.76 mph, 1,000ft-5.483.

Glenn launched hard and was stright down the groove to the number one spot. Dallas Glenn's incremental times: 60ft-0.967 sec., 330ft-2.720, 660ft-4.192/167.20 mph, 1,000ft-5.465.

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.524/209.56, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.553/209.85, Was #6
Right Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.534/209.88, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.548/209.62, Was #4

Enders with a great looking pass to go to the number one spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.964 sec., 330ft-2.717, 660ft-4.186/167.43 mph, 1,000ft-5.455.

Stanfield was right there with him to go to the number two spot. Aaron Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.972 sec., 330ft-2.725, 660ft-4.194/167.30 mph, 1,000ft-5.465.

Left Lane: Kyle Koretsky Runs 6.551/210.21, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.547/209.98, Was #4
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.530/209.79, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.547/209.33, Was #5

Koretsky with another good pass, but will not improve. Kyle Koretsky's incremental times: 60ft-0.995 sec., 330ft-2.752, 660ft-4.220/167.57 mph, 1,000ft-5.486.

Anderson launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number two spot. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.965 sec., 330ft-2.723, 660ft-4.192/167.51 mph, 1,000ft-5.462.
