This is just the 8th time that the #1 & #2 drivers have met in the TF final round at Indy. The #1 driver has won 5 of the previous 7 meetings.

Torrence is 14 - 8 against Force in prior events and Torrence is 3 - 2 against Force in prior final rounds.

Torrence with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. force is up in smoke right at the hit.

Torrence wins his eighth Wally this year and the 48th of his career. Torrence wins his second Indy Wally.
