Capps is 46 - 20 against Wilkerson in prior events and Capps is 6 - 2 against Wilkerson in prior final rounds.

Wilkerson had to swap engines between the round.

Capps with the starting line advantage, but Wilkerson has the lead when they went by the Christmas tree and never trailed from there on for the win.

Tim Wilkerson's MOV: 0.0216 seconds (approximately 10 feet).

The last time the #8 FC qualifier won Indy was 1990 (Ed McCulloch).

Wilkerson wins his first Wally in five years and his 21st of his career. This is the second time he has won here in Indy.
