BROWNSBURG, Ind. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 67th annual Dodge//SRT NHRA U.S. Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Right Lane: Andy Bohl Runs 5.566/263.82, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 47 percent, barometer 30.09 inches, adjusted altitude 2,442 feet.

Bohl with a good clean pass to start the weekend with his quickest pass of the season. Andy Bohl's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.515, 660ft-3.705/208.91 mph, 1,000ft-4.715.

Left Lane: Aryan Rochon Runs 22.884/29.34, Now #3
Right Lane: Chris Marshall Runs 12.712/83.20, Now #2

Rochon is up in smoke right at the hit and clicked it off.

Marshall is also up in smoke right at the hit.

Left Lane: Shane Westerfield Runs 9.662/128.73, Now #3
Right Lane: Annie Whiteley Runs 5.480/268.92, Now #1

Westerfield with severe tire shake and clicked it off.

Whiteley launched hard and kept it hooked up to make her quickest pass of the season. She goes to the number one spot. Annie Whiteley's incremental times: 60ft-0.951 sec., 330ft-2.485, 660ft-3.656/212.19 mph, 1,000ft-4.645.

Left Lane: Brian Gawlik Runs 5.580/261.42, Now #3
Right Lane: Ray Drew Runs 5.630/259.61, Now #4

Gawlik kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to make a career quickest and fastest pass. Brian Gawlik's incremental times: 60ft-0.968 sec., 330ft-2.502, 660ft-3.701/206.16 mph, 1,000ft-4.720.

Drew with a good looking pass, straight down the groove.

Left Lane: Chip Beverett Runs 10.512/84.76, Now #7
Right Lane: Tony Bogolo Runs 5.545/264.49, Now #2

Beverett with tire shake and clicks it off.

Bogolo kept it hooked up and was stright down the groove to make his career quickest pass and his season fastest pass. Tony Bogolo's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.505, 660ft-3.690/209.95 mph, 1,000ft-4.696.

Left Lane: Dan Pomponio Runs 9.851/86.65, Now #7
Right Lane: Brian Hough Runs 16.375/62.86, Now #10

Pomponio drives into tire shake and clicks it off.

Hough is up in smoke right at the hit and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Kyle Smith Runs 10.729/102.77, Now #10
Right Lane: Nick Januik Runs 5.851/176.90, Now #6

Smith with severe tire shake and clicked it off.

Januik was on a good looking pass, but it started to drift out of the groove toward the centerline and has the chutes out early.

Left Lane: DJ Cox Runs 6.265/161.50, Now #8
Right Lane: Bob McCosh Runs 5.719/257.24, Now #6

Cox starts to shake and clicks it off.

McCosh shook and pedaled it...

Left Lane: Sean Bellemeur Runs 13.288/70.87, Now #15
Right Lane: Doug Gordon Runs 8.470/107.23, Now #9

Bellemeur smokes the tires right at the hit and clicks it off.

Gordon starts to lose traction early and clicked it off.
