CONCORD, N.C. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Fuel Harley at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 11th annual NGK NTK NHRA Four-Wide Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Ryan Peery Runs 6.378/210.77, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 70 degrees, relative humidity 31 percent, barometer 30.23 inches, adjusted altitude 1,300 feet.

Peery is straight down the groove with a nice pass. Ryan Peery's incremental times: 60ft-1.122 sec., 330ft-2.841, 660ft-4.177/185.38 mph, 1,000ft-5.355.

Left Lane: Jay Turner Runs 9.598/95.88, Now #2
Right Lane: Bill Jackson Runs 12.062/77.71, Now #3

Turner started to lose traction and clicked it off.

Jackson lost traction right at the hit and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Tim Kerrigan Runs 8.238/109.37, Now #2
Right Lane: Tyler Wilson Runs 10.692/87.30, Now #4

Kerrigan with problems right at the hit and clicked it off.

Wilson lost traction right off the starting line and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Bob Malloy Runs 7.728/118.34, Now #3
Right Lane: Rickey House Runs 6.653/214.14, Now #2

Malloy launched hard and then when the front tire came down it started to drop cylinders.

House is straight down the groove with a nice pass to go to the number two spot.

Left Lane: Tii Tharpe Runs 6.361/224.96, Now #2
Right Lane: Randal Andras Runs 6.330/215.41, Now #1

This was a good side-by-side drag race to wrap up qualifying session one.

Tharpe goes to the number two spot. Tii Tharpe's incremental times: 60ft-1.089 sec., 330ft-2.876, 660ft-4.220/186.59 mph, 1,000ft-5.370.

andras launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Randal Andras' incremental times: 60ft-1.119 sec., 330ft-2.840, 660ft-4.162/187.86 mph, 1,000ft-5.325.
