Megan Meyer won her second consecutive Top Alcohol Dragster World title. She announced on August 31st this year she was stepping away from drag racing.
Meyer ran the quickest pass (5.090 seconds) in the history of Top Alcohol Dragster during the semifinals of the U.S. Nationals. In round two of the U.S. Nationals she made quickest pass in the history at the time when she ran 5.097 second-pass, she broke Bill Reichert's National Record from Houston of 2007.

Meyer defeated Joey Severance at the Dodge NHRA Finals in Las Vegas. This was the third win of five National events she attended.
