LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 20th annual Dodge NHRA Finals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Katie Sullivan Runs 7.014/192.36, Now #1
Right Lane: Freddie Camarena Runs 7.106/189.04, Now #2

A couple of the California riders are here this weekend.

Sullivan with a little wiggle right the hit, she stays with it.

Camarena with a clean pass.

Left Lane: Joey Gladstone Runs 6.893/195.56, Now #1
Right Lane: Cory Reed No Time, Now #4

Gladstone is straight down the groove with a nice pass.

Reed broke right off the starting line and was pushed off the starting line.

Left Lane: David Barron Runs 7.045/190.00, Now #4
Right Lane: Kelly Clontz Runs 7.019/190.97, Now #3

Baron with a clean pass.

Clontz is stright down the groove to the number three spot.

Left Lane: Chris Bostick Runs 6.998/184.85, Now #3
Right Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 6.947/192.06, Now #2

This was a good side-by-side drag race.

Bostick straight to the number three spot. Chris Bostick's incremental times: 60ft-1.065 sec., 330ft-2.902, 660ft-4.467/156.34 mph, 1,000ft-5.823.

Johnson kept it hooked up to go to the number two spot. Steve Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-1.081 sec., 330ft-2.902, 660ft-4.443/158.93 mph, 1,000ft-5.788.

Right Lane: Angie Smith Runs 7.844/122.79, Now #9

Arana Jr. to the number three spot. Hector Arana Jr's incremental times: 60ft-1.110 sec., 330ft-2.940, 660ft-4.484/158.74 mph, 1,000ft-5.830.

Smith with problems and sits up on the bike.

Left Lane: Ryan Oehler Runs 6.955/193.35, Now #3
Right Lane: Angelle Sampey Runs 7.141/158.82, Now #10

Oehler is straight down the groove to the number three spot. Ryan Oehler's incremental times: 60ft-1.069 sec., 330ft-2.902, 660ft-4.446/158.54 mph, 1,000ft-5.797. He was real close to the centerline on the top end.

Sampey was drifting out of the groove over by the centerline before she clicked it off.

Right Lane: Scotty Pollacheck Runs 6.900/196.04, Now #2

Hines with a real nice pass to go to the number three spot. Andrew Hines' incremental times: 60ft-1.087 sec., 330ft-2.907, 660ft-4.451/158.84 mph, 1,000ft-5.795.

Pollacheck with a great pass, straight down the groove to the number two spot. Scotty Pollacheck's incremental times: 60ft-1.075 sec., 330ft-2.901, 660ft-4.430/160.54 mph, 1,000ft-5.760.

Left Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 6.818/198.12, Now #1
Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.861/198.32, Now #2

Krawiec kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove with a great pass to go to the number one spot. He sets the E.T. record on this pass.

Smith with a great pass to go to the number two spot. Matt Smith's incremental times: 60ft-1.067 sec., 330ft-2.883, 660ft-4.407/160.58 mph, 1,000ft-5.732.
