LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Fuel Harley at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 20th annual Dodge NHRA Finals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Tony Ruggiero No Time, Now #2
Right Lane: Greg Justice Runs 7.966/131.15, Now #1

Ruggiero used up and engine early and came to a stop around 1000 feet. the word is there is oil on the track Tony Ruggiero was charged with an oildown, #1 for the season. That will cost 5 points.

Justice clicked it off early,

Left Lane: Mike Scott Runs 6.470/223.36, Now #1
Right Lane: Ryan Peery Runs 7.874/128.21, Now #2

Scott made a quick move toward the centerline, and hugged the centerline all the way down the track.

Left Lane: Tii Tharpe Runs 6.264/230.33, Now #1
Right Lane: Rickey House Runs 6.540/216.58, Now #3

Tharpe launched hard and was straight down the groove with a great pass. Tii Tharpe's incremental times: 60ft-1.116 sec., 330ft-2.819, 660ft-4.135/188.83 mph, 1,000ft-5.278.

Right Lane: Randal Andras Runs 9.652/94.01, Now #7

Turner with a good looking pass, straight down the groove to go to the number two spot. Jay Turner's incremental times: 60ft-1.132 sec., 330ft-2.830, 660ft-4.146/188.02 mph, 1,000ft-5.301.
