GLENDORA, Calif. -- National Hot Rod Association officials announced today that the annual awards ceremony will return to the majestic Universal Amphitheatre near Hollywood.

The NHRA Winston Drag Racing Series Awards Ceremony, where the champions of NHRA's 50th Anniversary season will be crowned, will take place Monday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m., at one of the premier entertainment facilities in the United States.

The public is once again invited to the event that will showcase the current stars and legends of NHRA drag racing. A celebrity host will soon be announced, as will the location of the post-event party planned for Universal City Walk.
