BAYTOWN, Texas - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Competition Eliminator at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 33rd annual Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, amount over/under index, and position in order following run, class and class index:
Left Lane: Greg Hunter Runs 10.300/67.42/3.270, Now #2 AA/AM Index: 7.03
Right Lane: Joseph Arrowsmith Runs 8.129/167.36/-0.661, Now #1 G/AA Index: 8.79
Hunter started to shake and clicked it off.
Arrowsmith is straight down the groove with a nice pass.
Left Lane: Keith Mawhee Runs 7.681/176.42/-0.589, Now #3 D/A Index: 8.27
Right Lane: Keith Hall Runs 8.368/161.73/-0.632, Now #2 G/A Index: 9.00
This was a good side-by-side drag race.
Both cars straight down the groove.
