Simpson shook right at the hit, but gets a number on the board.

Left Lane: Blake Alexander Runs 3.969/313.15, Now #6; Best prior run: 8.458/71.21, Was #13
Right Lane: Jim Campbell Runs 8.376/79.50, Now #14; Best prior run: 9.127/68.17, Was #16

Alexander is straight down the groove to move into the top half of the show. Blake Alexander's incremental times: 60ft-0.893 sec., 330ft-2.266, 660ft-3.197/273.44 mph.

Campbell loses traction and clicks it off.

Capps launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number two spot. Ron Capps' incremental times: 60ft-0.866 sec., 330ft-2.226, 660ft-3.143/281.25 mph.
