EPPING, N.H. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northeast Division, event at New England Dragway listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Dan Mercier Runs 5.362/276.75, Now #5; Best prior run: 5.498/270.43, Was #4
Right Lane: Jackie Fricke Runs 5.319/269.08, Now #3; Best prior run: 11.332/85.90, Was #5

Both drivers make their quickest passes of the day.

Mercier is straight down the groove with a good clean pass. Dan Mercier's incremental times: 60ft-0.952 sec., 330ft-2.476, 660ft-3.607/222.22 mph, 1,000ft-4.553.

Fricke kept it hooked up to move into the top alf of the show. Jackie Fricke's incremental times: 60ft-0.954 sec., 330ft-2.443, 660ft-3.549/229.82 mph, 1,000ft-4.496.
