CHANDLER, Ariz. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 36th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals:

Torrence is 18 - 16 against Kalitta in prior events and Torrence is 5 - 2 against Kalitta in prior final rounds.

Identical reaction times, then it is all Steve Torrence for the win. He bangs the blower right in the lights, but holds on for the win. Torrence wins his 37th career Top Fuel Wally and first of the season. For the third season in a row the Arizona trophy goes home with the Capco team.

Kalitta started to haze the tires and then clicked it off early.
