ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 34th annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.616/209.23, Now #15; No Prior Run
Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 56 percent, barometer 29.16 inches, adjusted altitude 3,102 feet, track temperature 108 degrees.
Laughlin is making his first pass of the weekend. He was at the No Mercy race yesterday running his Radial tire car.
He started to drift out of the groove, but stays with it to get in the show. Alex Laughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.995 sec., 330ft-2.770, 660ft-4.252/165.88 mph, 1,000ft-5.538.

Stevens slows from yesterday and stays on the bump spot.

Smeland with problems on the burnout and shuts it off and is pushed off the starting line.
Cuadra Jr. is straight down the groove with the second quickest pass of the session. He will stay in the number 12 spot.

Tucker with a clean pass, the fourth quickest pass of the session. The chute come out, but don't blossom.
