CONCORD, N.C. - The 12th annual NTK NHRA Carolina Nationals, the 21st of 24 events in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series and the third of six races in the NHRA Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship playoffs. Drivers in four categories - Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle - earn points leading to 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series world championships.

WHERE: zMAX Dragway- Track is located on Hwy 29 off I-85 at exit 49 (Speedway Blvd.) in the Concord, N.C. area.

COURSE: Championship drag strip; Track elevation is 630 feet above sea level.

WHEN: Friday through Sunday, Oct. 11-13

SCHEDULE:
FRIDAY, Oct. 11
LUCAS OIL SERIES qualifying at 11:30 a.m.
E3 SPARK PLUGS PRO MOD SERIES qualifying at 2:45 and 5:15 p.m.
MELLO YELLO SERIES qualifying at 3:30 and 6:00 p.m.

SATURDAY, Oct. 12
LUCAS OIL SERIES eliminations at 8:00 a.m.
E3 SPARK PLUGS PRO MOD SERIES qualifying at 12:30 and 3:00 p.m.
MELLO YELLO SERIES qualifying at 1:15 and 3:45 p.m.

SUNDAY, Oct. 13- Pre-race ceremonies, 11 a.m.
MELLO YELLO SERIES eliminations begin at noon

TELEVISION:
Friday, Oct. 11, FS1 will televise one hour of qualifying coverage at 7 p.m. (ET).
Sunday, Oct. 13, FS1 will televise three hours of finals coverage starting at 12:00 p.m. (ET).
