Bellemeur is 2 - 0 against Cox Jr. in prior events. Bellemeur was quicker out of the gate and stayed in front for the win. He'll have a bye in the next round.

Marshall launched, shook the rear tires, moved all over the track, pedaled it, shook again, then pedaled to finish the run. None of that mattered because Westerfield lit the red light and gave the win to Marshall.

Hough is 1 - 0 against Pomponio in prior events. Pomponio was first off the starting line and led this race at 330 feet. After that, Pomponio spun the car's rear tires and gave Hough the chance to drive by him for the win. Houigh will race Marshall in the next round and will have lane choice.
