COMMERCE, Ga. - Defending Top Fuel world champion Steve Torrence rolled to his second straight victory on Sunday with a win at the 39th annual Arby's NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway.

Ron Capps (Funny Car) and Andrew Hines (Pro Stock Motorcycle) were also winners in their respective categories at the seventh of 24 events during the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season.

Steve Torrence, 3.863 seconds, 320.20 mph defeated Brittany Force, 3.989 seconds, 274.00 mph.

Reigning Top Fuel champion, Torrence, picked up his second straight win of the season.

Ron Capps, Dodge Charger, 4.068 seconds, 315.34 mph defeated Tim Wilkerson, Ford Mustang, 4.052 seconds, 310.05 mph.

Capps claimed his first win of the season. This marks his 11th consecutive season with a national event win.

Andrew Hines, Harley-Davidson, 6.865 seconds, 195.05 mph defeated Jerry Savoie, Suzuki, 6.919 seconds, 193.65 mph.

Hines picked up his 51st career win and earned the 100th win for Harley-Davidson.
