Wild race to start eliminations for the bikes.

Scott gets away first, but has Malloy jump right out in front early.

Malloy bike goes into shake early and he has to pedal. Scott looked to have an easy win, but his engine goes sour and Malloy is back out in front again to take a big win.

Bob Malloy's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(0.031), 330 ft(-0.104), 660ft(0.267), 1,000ft(0.783). MOV: 1.3811 seconds (more than 100 feet).

Boyer is in for number one qualifier, Turner, as there was unrepairable damage to his engine.

Andras gets a big starting line advantage and then has issues and is coasting.

Boyer gets back in front and takes the upset win.

Layne is away first and pulls steadily ahead from start to finish for a decisive win. He will have lane choice over Boyer next round.
