CHANDLER, Ariz. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 35th annual Magic Dry Organic Absorbent NHRA Arizona Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Joey Grose Runs 17.001/47.71, Now #2
Right Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 10.373/87.13, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 55 degrees, relative humidity 40 percent, barometer 29.04 inches, adjusted altitude 1,133 feet, track temperature 99 degrees.

Grose with severe tire shake right at the hit and he clicked it off.

Prusiensky launched with the front end in the air and when it came back down it made quick move toward the centerline before he clicked it off.
