Severance and Meyer have each won 2 times against the other in prior events and Severance is 2 - 1 against Meyer in prior final rounds.

Severance with the starting line advantage and then lead until just past half track when the car has problems and Meyer chases him down. She then has problems, but holds on for the win. This is her third National event Wally this season and the fifth in her career.
