Torrence is 11 - 10 against McMillen in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round.

McMillen with the starting line advantage, but Torrence has the lead by just 330 feet and never trailed from there on for the win. Steve Torrence's MOV: 0.0193 seconds (approximately 9 feet). He wins his eighth Wally this season and the 24th of his career. He wins his first Cowboy hat in Top Fuel.
