This round started on Saturday, June 29. Pomponio's car got off the finish line first and he stayed in front for the win. About 1,00 feet down the track, Cox's car made a hard move to the right. It hit the wall, then rolled over the wall and came to a rest alongside the track. Cox was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. That was it for racing on Saturday.

This pair finished up on Sunday, July 1. Word is that D.J. Cox was released from the hospital in the morning without injury. Burkart got the win and will race Pomponio in the final round.
