POMONA, Calif. -- Top Fuel title contender Brittany Force piloted her Monster Energy dragster to the quickest pass in Auto Club Raceway at Pomona history during qualifying at the 53rd annual Auto Club NHRA Finals.

Jack Beckman (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) and Chip Ellis (Pro Stock Motorcycle) were also preliminary qualifiers in their respective categories at the final event of the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season.

Current Top Fuel No. 1 qualifier Brittany Force drove her Monster Energy Dragster to a 3.667 second pass at 330.01 mph.

Force set the track elapsed-time record during the second qualifying session for the day. She is currently second in points for the Countdown to the Championship.

Current Funny Car No. 1 qualifier Jack Beckman drove his Infinite Hero Foundation Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car to a 3.835 second pass at 334.98 mph.

Beckman raced to the top of the Funny Car class during Q2. He is currently seeking his second No. 1 qualifier of the season and 23rd of his career.

Current Pro Stock No. 1 qualifier Greg Anderson drove his Summit Racing Equipment Chevrolet Camaro to a 6.541 second pass at 209.79 mph

Anderson is the category points leader and is currently pursuing his sixth No. 1 qualifier of the season and 93rd of his career.

Current Pro Stock Motorcycle No. 1 qualifier Chip Ellis rode his Screamin' Eagle Vance & Hines Harley Davidson to a 6.805 second pass at 196.53 mph.

Ellis is in chasing his No. 1 qualifier of the season and first since the 2015 season.
