MADISON, Ill. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, sixth annual AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals:

Torrence and Kalitta have each won 12 times against the other in prior events and Torrence is 2 - 1 against Kalitta in prior final rounds.

Kalitta with the slight starting line advantage, but had the difference made up by the time they go by the Christmas tree and never trailed from there on for the win. Steve Torrence's MOV: 0.0081 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

Torrence wins his eighth Top Fuel Wally this season and the 16th of his career.

He expands his point lead to 42 points.
