POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 52nd annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Delco goes red and then has severe tire shake and clicked it off. McGaha launched into severe tire shake and pedaled it and got it to settle down for the win.

Allen Johnson is the defending event champion. He also won this race in 2012. His one round in Las Vegas gave him 796 for his career and that moved him past Joe Amato and in to 18th place on the all-time list. Johnson with the starting line advantage, but Skillman had the lead by the time they went by the Christmas tree and never trailed from there on for the win. Drew Skillman's MOV: 0.0485 seconds (approximately 15 feet).

Butner is 3 - 0 against Kramer in prior events. Kramer goes red and Butner with the second quickest pass of the round for the win. He will give up lane choice to Skillman that had the quickest pass of the race day by 0.004

Line with the quickest pass of the round and will have lane choice over McGaha in the next round..

Greg Anderson's five wins here are the most for any active Pro Stock driver, but far below the 11 times that Bob Glidden won here and just behind the 6 times that Warren Johnson won here. Anderson and Strong have each won 1 times against the other in prior events. Strong with a great light, but Anderson was able to chase him down just past half track to take the win. Greg Anderson's MOV: 0.0265 seconds (approximately 8 feet). He has the second quickest pass of the round and will have lane choice over Hartford in the next round.
