Severance is 5 - 0 against Bateman in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. Severance with the slight starting line advantage, but Bateman is able to chase him down just before 1000 feet and takes the win. Bateman wins his second National event Wally, both coming here at this event the other was last year. Garrett Bateman's MOV: 0.0221 seconds (approximately 9 feet). Bateman with his quickest pass on race day. Severance with his quickest pass of the event in the losing effort.
