LAS VEGAS -- Matt Hagan powered to the Funny Car provisional No. 1 qualifier Friday at the 16th annual NHRA Toyota Nationals.

Leah Pritchett (Top Fuel), Drew Skillman (Pro Stock) and Jerry Savoie (Pro Stock Motorcycle) were the qualifying leaders in their respective categories at the 23rd race of 24 on the 2016 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule. The NHRA Toyota Nationals is the fifth race of the six-race NHRA Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship.

Funny Car qualifying leader Matt Hagan drove his Mopar Express Lane/Rocky Boots Dodge Charger to a 3.872 second pass at 329.18 mph.

Hagan has five No. 1 qualifying positions this year and is third in points.

Top Fuel qualifying leader Leah Pritchett drove her Pennzoil Top Fuel dragster to a 3.705 second pass at 326.63 mph.

Pritchett has one No. 1 qualifying position this year and one win.

Pro Stock qualifying leader Drew Skillman drove his Ray Skillman Auto Group Chevy Camaro to a 6.681 second pass at 204.94 mph.

Skillman has two wins this season and has yet to post a No. 1 qualifying position. Anderson has six No. 1 qualifying positions this year. He is No. 2 in the points.

Pro Stock Motorcycle qualifying leader Jerry Savoie rode his Savoie's Alligator Farm Suzuki to a 6.904 second pass at 192.66 mph

Savoie has one No. 1 qualifying position this season. He is currently third in points.
