LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 16th annual NHRA Toyota Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.770/203.19, Now #12; Best prior run: 14.665/39.79, Was #16

Weather conditions: air temperature 75 degrees, relative humidity 51 percent, barometer 27.74 inches, adjusted altitude 4,309 feet, track temperature 84 degrees.

Kramer was straight down the groove to get in the show on the bump. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.818, 660ft-4.345/161.19 mph, 1,000ft-5.662.

Tucker with improve, but not enough to get in the show. Prusiensky improves, but he will start over tomorrow.

McGaha improves, but will stay in the number 13 spot. Strong improves and moves up the ladder a couple spots, but not enough to get in the show.

Skillman launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Drew Skillman's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.783, 660ft-4.289/163.45 mph, 1,000ft-5.587. Nobile was right there with him to move up the ladder one spot. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.790, 660ft-4.300/162.82 mph, 1,000ft-5.603.

Line with the second quickest pass of the round and the fastest pass of the day to go to the number three spot. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.785, 660ft-4.294/163.22 mph, 1,000ft-5.594. Anderson with another good pass, but will not improve. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.791, 660ft-4.301/163.14 mph, 1,000ft-5.602.

Laughlin will not improve and holds on to the number four spot. Gray with another good pass, but will not improve and holds on to the number two spot.
